ByLight exists to reduce unemployment, empower young people, and bring hope into homes and hearts one task at a time. We serve with grace, uplift through work, and connect communities through acts of practical support. Beyond meeting everyday needs, we are committed to using the proceeds of our business to fund the gospel and to stand as key kingdom financiers. Our calling is to transform ordinary tasks into extraordinary impact: creating opportunities, restoring dignity, and advancing God’s Kingdom by channeling resources into ministries that bring light, hope, and lasting change.

  • We are a small, dedicated team of five helpers, including our founder. By keeping our team focused and tight‑knit, we ensure quality, accountability, and excellence. You’re never dealing with random people, only vetted, reliable, and experienced taskers who have completed many hours of childcare, errands, business support, and event tasks.

  • Yes. Each tasker has hands‑on experience across a variety of services and has proven their reliability and skill through many completed tasks. We pride ourselves on being trustworthy, dependable, and purpose‑driven.

  • Our rate is never less than R100 per hour. We believe our taskers deserve to be paid fairly for their work. This ensures they can provide for their families with dignity, while you receive excellent service. Unlike platforms that cut corners, we value both our clients and our helpers equally.

  • For simple tasks, we’ll arrange a short intro call or an in‑person meeting to understand your needs. After that, we’ll send you a clear quote.

    For more complex tasks, we’ll arrange a longer, detailed call to discuss your requirements thoroughly before sending a tailored quote. This ensures clarity, transparency, and the right fit for your needs.

    To confirm any type of task or service, 50% of the payment is required upfront, and the remaining 50% will be billed once the task is completed.
